Great Van Gogh drawing in very condition; reasonably priced from impressive private collection!
Fantastic, free flowing, anatomical abstract sketch of worker with hat in field. Signed B/R "Vincent"; Excellent condition with approx. 2-shade color fade across bottom card stock. From phsycian's private collection, obtained originally from a French dealer in Geneva, Switzerland. Old master quality...Will look superb in appropriate frame. Circa 1885 drawing "Peasant with Sickle" included in image 4 for reference. Thanks Chuck.

No, no, this is surely NOT a drawing by Vincent van Gogh.
It's a drawing showing a Wild West cowboy.
van Gogh never sketched a hat like this, nor did he paint it.
Never! And a vacant face was not his style, it never was.
The headgear shown here is a STETSON hat, model El Presidente 100 X from the year 1865.

THE ORIGINAL LETTER FROM THE PRIVATE COLLECTOR DETAILING THE PROVENANCE UP TO 1988. This includes details of the associate of Picasso and how he came to acquire this and a number of other pictures from Picasso.
The entire story is ONE big lie.
